Æther Tableau is a steampunk poker puzzle built for solo play.

A deck of cards. A 5×5 grid. Ten poker hands to score — five across, five down. Every placement matters.

   There are no second chances.

  ---

  How it works

  •   Cards are dealt one at a time from a shuffled deck. You choose where each one goes on the grid. When the grid is full, every row and every column is scored as a poker hand — pairs, straights, flushes, full houses, and beyond. Your final score is the sum of all ten hands.
  •   Some decks include jammed cards — corrupted gears that poison any hand they touch. Place them wisely, or let them ruin your best rows.

  ---

  Three difficulty modes

  •   Easy — 52 cards, next card always visible. A clean game to learn the ropes.
  •   Normal — 56 cards with 4 jammed cards. Next card visible. The standard challenge.
  •   Expert — 56 cards, next card hidden, and a 90-second countdown per placement. For engineers who trust their instincts.

  A word from the workshop

Æther Tableau is the sequel to Æther Engine, set in the same universe of brass, steam, and calculated risk. You don't need to have played the first one — but if you liked it, you'll feel right at home.
